New Drool Subject
The new iPod is out. I don't care if it's some sort of "ideavirus" or "genre-defining": I want it 'cuz it looks absolutely beautiful and it's a much easier way to deal with my MP3 and CD collection than my existing MP3 DiscMan.
And I'm gonna steer clear of iPod Mini: I'd get 10X the capacity in a 40 GB iPod for only 60% more in price (plus I actually think it looks better).
But alas, another big ticket item... ...I wonder how long (and how many new versions) before I actually decide to fork out the $$ for this baby (and whether it'll even be anywhere near as iconic by then).
