Hallelujah!
Svend is gone (via Andrew Coyne).
Although, as a visitor on AC.com points out, this might well be the first "non-resignation resignation." So cross your fingers, folks.
In any regular circumstances, I should hate Libby Davies' guts. But I don't, for the sole reason that she is not Svend Robinson. Svend really lowered the bar for everyone on the Left, and while I have no question that us on the Right are celebrating today, I wonder how many of our ideological opponents really recognize how much better off they are now.
