Kosovo: Where Everyone Gets A Turn At Ethnic Cleansing

I can recall opposing the 1999 NATO bombing of Yugoslavia back in the day, and to this day I still felt that the war was an uneven approach to another country's internal problems, a war launched on the flimsiest of excuses. When Yugoslavia capitulated, I was worried about a mad mob of Albanians bent on seeking revenge and tossing the last Serb out of Kosovo.

And back then I was five years younger, twenty times more naive, and didn't know the KLA was simply a terrorist organization with better PR than the average jihadist. Shows how much common sense pays off.

And now it's all come back and borne fruit. Vindication can be bittersweet, but this time it's just plainbitter more than anything else.
